About the NCCPHP Training Web Site

The North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness (NCCPHP) Training Web Site was developed to offer public health professionals and other interested persons immediate access to short, high quality trainings on public health preparedness topics. Trainings address emergency readiness competencies plus core public health and epidemiology competencies.

These trainings are designed to address the most basic level of cognitive learning. They are short knowledge-level trainings that are designed to be completed on-the-job with very little time commitment.

About NCCPHP

The North Carolina Center for Public Health Preparedness is a program of the North Carolina Institute for Public Health, the service and outreach arm of the University of North Carolina 's School of Public Health.

  • facilitating training to meet the assessed needs, and
  • carrying out applied research on emerging health issues.

NCCPHP is part of a national network of Centers for Public Health Preparedness funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention through Grant/Cooperative Agreement U90/CCU424255.
