Ms. Julie Shields is the program assistant for the Center. She provides general logistical support for all of the Center's training efforts, in particular the NCCPHP Training Web Site, the Public Health Workforce Development System, and the trainings associated with roll-out of North Carolina's new electronic disease surveillance system.
Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Shields worked as an account executive in an outside sales capacity for Konica Minolta Business Solutions, USA. She has experience in sales, marketing and merchandising. Ms. Shields received a bachelor’s degree in family consumer science from the University of Mississippi in 2005.
