






What?
The North Carolina Disaster Response Network (NC DRN) developed online and in-person training to orient licensed mental/ behavioral health professionals to disaster response work.
Part 1 of the training has 8 30-minute online modules on important disaster preparedness topics.
Part 2 consists of a 2-hour live simulation workshop which is offered to North Carolina licensed mental health professionals in locations around the state.
For North Carolina professionals, the online course is free, but there is a $60 Continuing Education charge for the full 6 hours, payable at the time of registering for the final 2-hour workshop.

Developed for licensed mental health professionals in North Carolina who may be willing to volunteer for disaster response work and who would like to earn continuing education credit. If you are not a North Carolina licensed mental health professional, you are also invited to access the free online training.

How?
First you register for the online modules and then you log-in to access the 8 30-minute modules at no cost. Technical requirements are also provided.
When?
Take the online training anytime and start and stop when it is convenient. After completing all 8 online modules, North Carolina licensed mental health professionals will be invited to sign up for the 2-hour live simulation workshop offered in locations around North Carolina.
